This May we will be holding our third EvangeLiving conference. The subtitle for our conference was taken from Matthew 10, where Christ was having a conversation with the twelve disciples, with whom He had such a strong relationship. With this conversation He wanted to prepare them for what was to come. Who endures till the end, He said, shall be saved. Jesus spoke these words, after He had sent the disciples out to spread the Gospel. We too, today, can claim the promise that if we endure till the end, we will be saved. During EvangeLiving III we want to think and learn about how to endure till the end. The speakers that will be helping us with this, are Gerard Damsteegt and Peter Gregory.
Peter Gregory originally is from South-Korea. When he was twelve, he immigrated to the United States, where he spent a lot of his time on the streets, until one morning he stepped into an Adventist church. His eyes were opened to Biblical truths and he was baptized into the Seventh-day Adventist Church when he was 17.
Since then he has been in over 45 countries to preach the three angels’
message. The three angels’ message is a special message for the end times, and
this is what Peter Gregory will be speaking to us about.
Whoever wants to know where he is going, does well in knowing where he comes from. That is why Gerard Damsteegt will be telling us about the history of the church. Originally from the Netherlands, he studied theology at Newbold and Andrews University. After spending years in Thailand and Korea as a missionary, he eventually returned to the United States where he currently resides and teaches church history at Andrews University.

Youth For All
Youth for All consists of young people who feel so blessed by our Heavenly Father that they want to spread the good news with everyone. The activities Youth for All initiates support this idea (Jn. 14:2,3; Rev. 14:6-13).
We are youth for Christ, with Him we can do all things. When Christ was here on earth, he went out to enrich the lives of others. He did what He could to help the poor, sick and the broken hearted. We believe that Christ is asking us, his followers, to continue this work. (Phil. 4:13; Lk. 4:18,19; Jn. 13:35).
We are Youth for the Church, because Christ loves his Church and we are proud to be a part of His Church. Youth for All consists of Seventh-day Adventists and strives to support and strengthen the Church (1 Cor. 12:12-31).
We are youth for youth, because we know that as a young person it can be difficult to stand for what you believe. That it’s not easy to make a choice when you don’t know what your options are and that even when your options are crystal clear it is nice to know that you are not alone. Our aim is to encourage youth to have a personal relationship with Christ, to show them how much power there is in God’s Word, and that joy flows from studying His Word and spreading His Word together. In addition to that Youth for All wants to stimulate the youth to encourage each other spiritually. Together we stand strong (Ecc. 4:12).
We are Youth for All, because the world has been entrusted to men and we believe we have an important message for the people in this generation.
We take to heart the message from Paul to Timothy:
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity 1 Timothy 4:12.
We know that our youthfulness does not have to be a limitation and we know that when we do what God has asked of us, he will bless us. In the text above Paul does not just speak about talking in a godly manner, he also speaks about being an example when it comes to charity, spirit, faith and purity. In other words: don’t just speak of the Gospel, be the Gospel, and that is what Youth for All stands for (Gen. 1:26-28; Jas. 2:14).
